Dennis Findley, FAIA is an architect, urban designer, and civic leader with more than four decades of experience shaping buildings, communities, and public systems. He founded Studio Findley Design in 2015 after a long career serving a diverse range of clients, including entrepreneurs, developers, public agencies, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and private individuals.

His work spans a wide range of scales and building types, including office and mixed-use projects, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, K–12 and higher education facilities, museums, sports and recreational facilities, private clubs, multifamily and single-family housing, master planning, urban design, and interiors. Across this diversity, his work is unified by a focus on context, clarity, and long-term civic impact.

Dennis earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University, graduating First In Class, and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University, graduating With Distinction. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, recognized for both professional excellence and service to society.

Public service has been a defining thread throughout his career. He is the Past Chair of the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities (2024–25), following several years of board leadership. In that role—and as a long-time advocate—Dennis played a direct role in shaping disability-related legislation before the Virginia General Assembly, contributing to reforms affecting Medicaid Waiver policy, employment eligibility, voting rights, and services for individuals with disabilities and their families. His work has helped translate lived experience into statutory and regulatory change, improving outcomes statewide.

His broader service includes leadership roles on planning, design-guideline, arts, historic preservation, and community boards in Virginia and Massachusetts.

In addition to his architectural practice, Dennis is the founder of Wall Street on Your Street, a private investment consulting firm, and the author of "The Great Reveal: The Internet Didn’t Change Humanity, It Revealed It" (forthcoming). In 2010, he was a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.
